Abstract
The ring-opening metathesis polymerization of enantiopure norbornene-type m onomers using Grubbs' ruthenium carbene initiator gives access to a new cla ss of poly-beta -amino acid derivatives, Kinetic investigations and molecul ar weight determinations proved the living nature of the polymerization all owing control over chain length and polymer weight.
