Abstract
Pixel detectors using synthetic diamond arc an attractive alternative to si licon for use in radiation harsh environments such as at the LHC. Recent te st beam results using CMS pixel readout electronics are presented which dem onstrate a hit efficiency of 94% and position resolution of 31 mum for a di amond pixel sensor with 125 mum x 125 mum pitch.
