Abstract
The silicon microstrip detector is a major upgrade of the D0 inner tracking system. We present an overview of the design and some of the assembly chal lenges. We describe the testing and repair procedures and associated yields . We also report results from electrical tests of our double sided detector s and the constraints imposed by micro discharge effect. (C) 2001 Elsevier Science B.V. All rights reserved.
