We studied the c-axis magnetoresistance (H// ab, J perpendicular to c) of a
typical layered perovskite superconducting single crystals Sr2RuO4. It is s
hown that the, magnetoresistance is anisotropic and strongly temperature de
pendent. When rotating the direction of magnetic field in the ab-plane, the
magnetoresistance varies periodically, and the maximum appears as the appl
ied ! magnetic field is in the (110) direction. We analyze this transport p
roperty with respect to the Fermi surface anisotropy, the quasiparticle sca
ttering rate anisotropy and the band dispersion anisotropy, respectively.
