Abstract
We have measured the angular dependence of the voltage-current characterist ics in Bi-2223/Ag tape which has a high critical current density, 33 kA/cm( 2) at 77 K and self-magnetic field. The angular dependence can be attribute d to that of the so-called glass-liquid transition field. It will be shown that the critical current density can be described by the statistics model as a function of the magnetic field and its angle. (C) 2001 Elsevier Scienc e B.V. All rights reserved.
