Abstract
The possibility of simultaneous determination of some thermal and transport properties of polycrystalline YBa2Cu3O7-x using a photoacoustic (PA) metho d was investigated. Both the amplitude and phase PA signals were measured a s a function of the modulation frequency of the laser beam. Thermal diffusi vity, the coefficients of the carrier diffusion, the excess-carrier lifetim e and optical absorption coefficient were calculated by fitting experimenta l spectra and theoretical photoacousic signals.
