Abstract
During an experiment at the GANIL/LISE3 facility, using the fragmentation o f a 74.5 MeV/A Ni-58 beam, we could observe a few events showing the existe nce of the doubly-magic nucleus Ni-48. I, addition, we could also confirm t he observation of several other very exotic nuclei in this mass region and perform decay studies of isotopes ranging from Ti-39 to Ni-49. A special in terest arises for decay studies here, since some of the observed isotopes a re candidates to the unobserved two-proton radioactivity.
