Abstract
The even-even nucleus (270)110 was synthesized using the reaction Ni-64 + ( 207)pb. A total of eight alpha -decay chains was measured during an irradia tion time of seven days. Decay data were obtained for the ground-state and a high-spin K isomer. The nerv nuclei (266)Hs and (262)Sg Were identified a s daughter products after alpha -decay. Spontaneous fission of (262)Sg term inates the decay chain. The measured data are in agreement with calculation s using the macroscopic-microscopic model and with self-consistent HFB calc ulations with Skyrme-Sly4 interaction.
