Abstract
Oxygen permeating property of Fe doped LaGaO3 based perovskite oxide was in vestigated in this study. Fe doped La1-xSrxGaO3 exhibits high total conduct ivity (similar to 10(3) S/cm) and high oxygen permeation rate. In particula r, the highest total conductivity and oxygen permeating rate were attained at La0.7Sr0.3Ga0.6Fe0.4O3. At this composition, oxygen permeation rate from air to He was as high as 2.5 cm(-2)/min . cm(-2) at 1273 K and 0.3 mm memb rane thickness. (C) 2001 The Electrochemical Society.
