B. Fornal et al., Few particle excitations of N=83 isotones Sb-134 and Te-135 from Cm-248 fission - art. no. 024322, PHYS REV C, 6302(2), 2001, pp. 4322
Gamma-ray cascades in the two- and three-valence-particle nuclei Sb-134 and
Te-135 have been studied with Gammasphere using a Cm-248 spontaneous fissi
on source. Isotopic assignments were based in part on coincidences with gam
ma rays from complementary Rh and Ru fission partners. The Sb-134 and Te-13
5 level schemes have been considerably extended, with placement of many new
high-energy gamma rays; delayed gamma -ray coincidences observed across a
0.51-mus yrast isomer in Te-135 were especially fruitful. The yrast level s
pectra of both nuclei are interpreted using empirical nucleon-nucleon inter
actions and compared with the known yrast excitations of their counterparts
Bi-210 and Po-211.
