Abstract
The phase behavior of the system of cetylpyridine bromide/t - butanol/15 % (acrylic octadecyl ester and styrene)/water was measure at 25.4 degreesC. T he kinetic of the acrylic octadecyl ester and styrene co - polymerization i n O/W microemulsion system for cetyl pyridine bromide/t - butanol/15% [acry lic octadecyl ester and styrene (1:2.5)]/water was studied by LLS method. T he mechanism of nucleation of latex particles is discussed. The most possib le nucleation locations of the acrylic octadecyl ester and styrene latex pa rticles are solulization micelles and monomer microdrops.
