Abstract
Zirconolite - rich and pyrochlore - rich synrocs were fabricated and studie d. The designed formulae for solidification of actinides were given, and th e properties of the waste form, like physical properties, durability proper ties and irradiation properties, were evaluated. The phase assemblages, ele mental distribution and phase chemical composition were analyzed by using X - ray diffractometer(XRD), scanning electron microscopy with energy disper sive spectrometer (SEM/EDS) and transmission electron microscopy with energ y dispersive spectrometer (TEM/EDS). The results showed that zirconolite - rich and pyrochlore - rich synrocs were suitable waste form for solidificat ion of actinide wastes.
