Abstract
The specific volume and the coefficient of thermal expansion of poly(styren e), poly(vinyl methyl ether) and their mixtures are measured; the thermal c oefficient of the pressure was calculated using the group contributions. Fr om these data the characteristic parameters nu*, T*, p* of the Flory's stat e equation are determined Considerations on the theoretical previsions and experimental curves are also carried out.
