Abstract
A simple and efficient method for the synthesis of new chiral polyaza heter ocylic structures containing pyridines and 1,3-pyrimidine units has been de veloped. It is based on the reaction of the appropriate enaminones with opt ically pure carboxamidine derived from the commercially available (R)-(-)-m yrtenal. (C) 2000 Elsevier Science Ltd.
