The Lambda(c)(+)-->pK(-)pi(+) yield has been measured in a sample of two-je
t continuum events containing both a charm tag ("(D) over bar") as well as
an antiproton (e(+)e(-) --> (D) over bar (p) over bar X), with the antiprot
on in the hemisphere opposite the (D) over bar (measurement of charge conju
gate modes is implicit throughout). Under the hypothesis that such selectio
n criteria tag e(+)e(-)-->(D) over bar (p) over bar Lambda(c)(+)X events, t
he Lambda(c)(+)-->pK(-)pi(+) branching fraction can be determined by measur
ing the pK(-)pi(+) yield in the same hemisphere as the antiprotons in our (
D) over bar (p) over bar X sample. Three types of (D) over bar charm tags a
re used, pi(soft)(-) (from D*- --> (D) over bar(o) pi(soft)(-) electrons (f
rom (D) over bar-->Xe- nu), and fully reconstructed (D) over bar(o) --> Kpi(-) or D- -->K+ pi(-)pi(-) or D-s(-) --> phi pi(-). Combining our results
obtained from the three independent charm tags, we obtain B(Lambda(c)(+) -
-> pK(-) pi(+)) = (5.0 +/- 0.5 +/- 1.2)%.
