Abstract
Four currently utilized constitutive models for metals (i.e. Johnson-Cook, Zerilli-Armstrong, Bodner-Partom and Khan-Huang) are investigated and used to predict the mechanical behaviors of the materials and compared with expe rimental results. Limitations for each model in describing work-hardening b ehavior of metals are discussed. (C) 1999 Elsevier Science Ltd. All rights reserved.
