Abstract
Increasing customer orientation and frequent changes in project environment s call for a context-specific individualization of process models. Needs fo r a flexible generation of process models are evident, that is, process mod els ought to be tailored to a project-specific concert. This article presen ts an approach which is based on the explicit specification of a process' c ontext by means of an individual model of constraints. Experience in proces s modelling can be broken down to single design decisions that are captured in terms of dependencies between constraints and process models. Knowledge about constraints, process models, and dependencies is represented at a ge neric level and can be reused amid specific cases. The main goal of this ap proach is to enable a user to develop case-specific process models in an ef ficient way.
