Abstract
The nucleus Pa-231 was studied by Coulomb-excitation. New states were ident ified by particle-yy coincidences using the NORDBALL array in coincidence w ith two different particle detector systems. A regular bandstructure is obs erved in the 3/2[651] band for levels above 9/2+ fed by strong E1 transitio ns from the ground-state band.
