Abstract
The virtual current of an electromagnetic flow meter in partially fill ed pipes is obtained by an alternating method. Some typical distributi ons of the weight function under a uniform magnetic field are given. C hanges of the non-uniformity of the weight function versus the fluid's depth as well as the electrode's angular position are calculated and discussed.
