Abstract
Field-induced silver injection into glass was studied in the time doma in. It was found that injection feasibility was different from sample to sample, that silver injection became progressively less favorable w ith cycles of silver deposition/injection, and that it would occur by field evaporation from the silver anode caused by an effective field o f similar to 10(8) V/cm within an insulating electric double layer for med near the anode.
