Abstract
Non-covalent synthesis was used in the controlled assembly of metallod endrimers containing up to 12 porphyrins on the surface. A porphyrin c ontaining four Pd-Cl complexes was synthesized to assemble dendrimers with a porphyrin in the nucleus. H-1 NMR, ES-MS and MALDI-TOF mass spe ctrometry were used to characterize the nanometer-size assemblies.
