C. Mercierguyon, EVALUATION OF ALCOHOL-CONSUMPTION LEVEL IN DRIVERS WHEN REGRANTING LICENSES AFTER DRIVING WHILE INTOXICATED IN FRANCE, Alcohol and alcoholism, 31(6), 1996, pp. 617-618
Biological markers form an important part of the decision-making proce
ss for regranting of driving licences in France. A major criterion in
this respect is the need to distinguish between acute alcohol use and
chronic abuse by applicants. Current markers reflect more hepatic dama
ge than alcohol consumption and this stresses the need for more reliab
le markers.
