The V and B light curves of the Algol-type eclipsing binary EU Hydrae,
obtained during 1973-74 and 1977 with the 1.2-m telescope of the Japa
l-Rangapur Observatory; were analyzed for elements using the Wilson-De
vinney synthetic light-curve method. The results suggest that EU Hya i
s a semidetached system with a photometric mass ratio of 0.212. The pr
imary component is found to be an F2 V (6900 K) and the secondary comp
onent is an evolved star of K0-4 IV-V (4152 K) spectral types.
