Abstract
Due to its conformation, the hydrophilic compound [(D)MeSer-3, (4-OH)M eLeu-4] cyclosporin, 3, shows high affinity for cyclophilin A. This pr operty, together with its lack of immunosuppression, confers 3 with ve ry interesting anti HIV-1 activity.
