Impedance measurements were made to clarify the mechanism of the propa
gation of the electric conductivity with doping protonic acids using c
ompressed polyaniline (PAn) specimens. From the simulation of the impe
dance data, the equivalent circuit of the PAn was separated from other
components. By formulating the dopant concentration into a from funct
ion, it was interpreted successfully how new paths for electrons trans
fer to other molecular chains appeared and how the jumping frequency i
ncreased with dopant concentration.
